Kuala Lumpur, 9th December 2022 – Carlist.my announced on 7th December 2022 that Great Wall Motor Malaysia’s ORA GOOD CAT came on top of Carlist.my Editors' Choice Awards - Car of the Year for the ‘Most Anticipated Newcomer of the Year’ 2022. ORA GOOD CAT outperformed a number of other electric vehicles that were introduced in Malaysia this year, standing out from the strong competition with its eye-catching futuristic style, impressive safety features, advanced technology and its commendable price offerings.

GWM’s plans are focused on providing their customers with top-notch customer service through the implementation of 24-hour roadside assistance by our appointed panel insurance company and a spare parts warehouse which has been established in Shah Alam. By the end of 2023, GWM also aims to open 15 unified and multi-form stores, with 3S stores making up the majority.
Highlights of the car as below:
● The workmanship and deployment of only the highest quality of materials on the interior, the car is equipped with a modern 7” Cluster Display that comes with a user-friendly interface and an electronic driver massage seat.
● ORA GOOD CAT comes with practical L2-level driving assistance functions, integrating functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), lane keeping assistance and 360 degree surrounding camera. The electric vehicle is also equipped with an auto emergency braking system that ensures a safer journey for drivers in various road conditions in Malaysia.
● As a pure electric vehicle, ORA GOOD CAT has been designed with pure electric architecture of GWM’s state-of-the-art L.E.M.O.N. platform which stands for lightweight, electrification, multi-purpose, Omni-protection and network. It comes with five driving modes ranging from Normal, Sport, Eco, Eco+ and Auto.
● The fully-electric car is sold at a commendable price starting from RM139,800 for the 400 Pro and RM169,800 for the 500 Ultra, one of the cheapest electric vehicles in Malaysia.
● GWM also introduced an attractive 4-in-1 Purr-fect package where ORA GOOD CAT buyers can enjoy a complimentary portable and home charger, a 5-year or up to 150,000 km warranty, an 8-year or up to 180,000 km battery warranty, and 5 times free service labour maintenance.
The Carlist.my Award is the first honour bestowed upon GWM’s ORA GOOD CAT since its recent launch in November 2022.
