Kuala Lumpur, 3 April 2024 — GWM ORA 07 is officially launched in Malaysia. Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia has announced the price of this streamline electric coupe, which are RM 169,800 for the Long Range Ultra variant and RM 189,800 for the Performance variant.
The GWM ORA 07 is offered in two variants, namely the Long Range Ultra and Performance. The Long Range Ultra gets a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) powertrain that outputs 204 PS and 340 Nm for 640 km of range (NEDC). Meanwhile, the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) powered Performance variant steps things up with 408 PS and 680 Nm for 550 km of range (NEDC) and sprints in 4.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The battery capacity boasts an impressive 83.499 kWh, which can be charged from 30% to 80% in 32 minutes via DC fast charging. Besides, it has an ultra-low drag coefficient with an aerodynamic optimisation of 0.22 Cd, which enhances the vehicle’s overall performance.
The GWM ORA 07’s dimensions are 4871 mm in length, 1862 mm in width, and 1500 mm in height, with a 2870 mm wheelbase. Available in three metallic colours: grey, purple, and white, the GWM ORA 07 exudes a sophisticated vibe. The interior colour for the Long-Range Ultra variant is the luxurious-looking black, but customers can upgrade to the classy brown interior for RM 2,500. However, the Performance variant only comes with the brown interior. Compared to the Long Range Ultra variant that has 5 driving modes (Normal, Sport, Wellbeing, Individual, and Eco), the Performance variant has 6 driving modes (Normal, Sport, Well-being, Individual, Eco, and Sport+), which the extra mode can be enabled by an intelligent turbo.
The streamline outlook of the GWM ORA 07 comes from the beauty of closed grille design and sophisticated LED headlights. Its hidden door handles, frameless doors, and the electric rear spoiler give a dynamic touch. On top of the vehicle is the 1.7m² panoramic glass roof that allows passengers to enjoy an extensive view. As for GWM ORA 07’s interior, the luxurious premium leather covering the seats and steering wheel builds its elegant vibe, while the Tshaped centre console with rotating control panel brings out the charisma of a sports car. The luxurious aesthetics create a more exquisite driving experience.

It also has an impressive 8 years warranty with a coverage up to 180,000 km for power battery, electric motor, and electric motor control unit, whichever comes first. Besides, owners have a 12 year car rust and corrosion warranty. In addition, GWM Malaysia will offer a ‘one-to-one’ battery replacement, on the condition that the battery’s State of Charge (SOC) falls below 70%.
The first 500 GWM ORA 07 customers will also get a complimentary home wallbox charger and an additional 2-year warranty (8 years or 180,000km), whichever comes first for full vehicle warranty, on top of the warranty package mentioned above.
